The attraction of the virtual: Consoles and games

The attraction of the virtual continues to expand and each time more and more people is increasingly interested in participating in the wonderful worlds of screens.
Far, lost, is the time of the Magnavox Odyssey, released in 1972 by Magnavox, the first video game console in the world. We are now immersed in the eighth generation of consoles. The latest to hit the market was the Wii U, which appeared in November 2012, by Nintendo, the first to support high definition graphics.

Last year, the best selling console was Sony's PlayStation 3, with over 9 million units sold. Featuring games like DmC Devil May Cry, Dead Space 3 and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, the PlayStation 3 sold 1.3 million units more than Microsoft's Xbox 360. Not a bad number at all!

It was surely a month-to-month war between Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo to see who has the best of the best regarding virtual entertainment. Everyone waited anxiously to know the last month results of the sales report.

Some of the best selling video games of 2012 were Kinect Adventures! (Xbox 360, Microsoft), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox 360, Microsoft), Super Mario 3D Land (3DS, Nintendo), Mass Effect 3 (Xbox 360), Pokemon Black/White Version 2 (DS, Nintendo).

Of all these, the best selling video game was Nintendo's Pokemon Black/ White Version 2, with almost 3 million sales last year.

Because in the videogame world, you just can't rest and sleep. Memory expands like a vast wind, and if you want to be the best, you have to put your head on it and never let go. Some people choose the screen. Ye who delivers the best, will not read Game Over.
